Description
Myriam Vander Elst established Epic in Europe in 2015, starting from her London kitchen just a month after its initial launch in NYC by Founder Alexandre Mars.
Epic is a global foundation dedicated to transforming the lives of disadvantaged youth and protecting our planet. To date, Epic has mobilised $87 million, supporting 54 nonprofits worldwide. In 2019, the Harvard Kennedy School published a case study about Epic, which is now taught in top universities globally.
Myriam leverages impact and gives solutions for individuals and corporations to support high-impact social organizations across four continents. As part of this, in 2024 she launched the School of Philanthropy to meet the growing demand for expertise in giving best practices from major individuals and corporate donors.
A graduate of LSE and Sciences Po Paris, Myriam spent 15 years in the private sector as a communication and brand strategist for world-leading agencies such as BPM-DDB and Dentsu.
