Description
Lior Katz, CFA, Managing Director, is Head of Continental Europe Family Offices at BlackRock. He leads relationships with Family Offices, Private Foundations, and Family-Owned corporations across the region, delivering BlackRock’s full suite of investment and risk management solutions. In this role, he collaborates closely with portfolio managers and distribution teams across multiple markets to provide tailored strategies that meet clients' evolving needs. He is also a member of the FraBeLux SteerCo & ExCo. Previously, Mr. Katz was part of iShares Capital Markets, advising wealth and institutional investors across Europe and APAC. He specialized in delivering market insights, trading guidance, and product expertise, with a focus on Fixed Income and derivatives. He joined BlackRock in 2013 as part of the Credit Suisse ETF acquisition. Prior to that, he began his career in Delta One Sales at Credit Suisse, specializing in equity derivatives and systematic investment strategies. Committed to advancing professionalism and innovation in the investment industry, Mr. Katz was appointed as a BlackRock Ambassador by CFA UK, where he promotes integrity and continuous learning within the firm. He was also recognized on the CFA Professional Investor 30 Under 30 list. Mr. Katz holds a Master of Science in Management from NEOMA Business School in France and participated in the MIT-Tsinghua International MBA program in Beijing.
