Mikael Markman (Paris) joined KKR in 2025 to lead the firm’s family capital client business in France, Benelux and French-speaking regions. Prior to KKR, Mr. Markman spent eight years at Nomura, where he was leading the sponsor franchise in France and Benelux. He advised sponsors on LBO transactions covering M&A, financing and hedging. Mr. Markman previously held positions in M&A at UBS, Morgan Stanley and Rothschild between London and Paris, focusing on M&A for financial institutions. Mr. Markman holds an MBA in Finance from ESSEC Business School in France and holds a French Baccalaureate in Science.
